Join us at The Wonder House to celebrate the release of Eric Maskol's long awaited album, "The Year Before The War".15 of Eric's greatest songs, cherry picked from the many hundreds he's written over the years, some hitherto only available in crude demo form, and the rest never available at all... until now. Eric's first official album features the Jekyll & Hyde drumming of Tony Patel-Dunn, laying down a cement basement of beat over which Eric constructs his soaring houses of song, simultaneously performing the rest of the guitar, bass and vocal parts himself. All this captured in a single, 50-hour marathon recording session, after which the tracks were pried from Eric and Tony's exhausted, bloodied hands and deftly mixed by evil studio genius Jaimeson Durr. The synergy of these efforts has resulted in a scarily successful, 45 minute piece of instant rock and roll history. And its release calls for Celebration with a capital C.
On Saturday July 18th, at The Wonder House, in the St. Francis Wood district of San Francisco, just such a Celebration is slated to occur. It will be an all-out modern day bacchanal, featuring plenteous libations, circus performers, sex lights, absinthe, world class musicians, extra terrestrials, and audio-visual madness of such magnitude that our attorneys are requiring us to retain several on-site psychiatrists for the duration of the festivities.
We humbly invite you to join us.
